    KRC Feeders

    WHAT is KRC FEEDER?

    KRC FEEDER is a structured learn-to-swim program designed to help children develop water familiarity, safety skills, and swimming techniques.

    • Younger swimmers focus on water comfort, safety, floating, and basic swimming skills.
    • Older swimmers work on stroke development and building the ability to swim across the pool, preparing them for our swim team.  Feeder participants can move up to the swim team at anytime during the summer

    COACHES: 

    • Trecy Rochelle – Head Feeder Coach
    • Swim Team Athletes & Coaches – Dedicated swimmers who want to give back to the program.

    🔹 All instructors will be in the water, providing hands-on guidance.

    COST: $130 per member (only open to KRC year-round or KRC summer members)


    AGE: 3 years to 8 years
    START: June 1 -July 1, 2026

    Days and Times:
    Monday - Tuesday -  Wednesday 
    Group 1: 10:00a-10:20a
    Group 2: 10:30a-10:50a
    Group 3: 11:00a-11:20a

    Group assignments will be announced on May 29, 2026, after registration.

    Feeder Meets will be incorporated on feeders days and are a fun and casual way for our new swimmers to experience a "mock" swim meet. These meets help swimmers become comfortable with the format in a supportive environment.

    What to Expect:

    • Coaches will be in the water, guiding swimmers across the pool while reinforcing the skills they've learned in class.
    • Swimmers will receive a lollipop or ribbon at the finish.
    • This experience helps swimmers get comfortable with meets, so when they join the swim team, they’ll feel confident and prepared.
    • All swimmers are encouraged to participate!

    Feeder Graduation is July 1st at 10:00am -Feeder Graduation is a special celebration marking the completion of this summer’s Feeder program! 🎉

    What to Expect:

    • Each swimmer will receive a certificate, medal, and snacks (including popsicles! ).
    • There will be no lesson on this day—just a fun way to recognize our swimmers' hard work and progress!
    • This event serves as the final day of the Feeder program.

    Private Lessons

    It's never too early to begin private lessons! We have a lot of swimmers during regular practices in that group setting. If you choose to do private lessons will allow your child to benefit from one-on-one coaching for 30 minutes.

    Private lessons are perfect for kids of all ages looking to learn and/or improve on stroke technique. They also give the coaches an opportunity to get to know your swimmer better and help them drop time in a fun environment!

    The coaches are available for private lessons. Lessons are 30 mins. You must pay at the time of the lesson to the front gate. Contact the coach of your choice to schedule your lesson and rate.  Lessons are $40-$30 per 30 min.
