2026 KRC Lifeguard Application Form

Positions Available:

1) Lifeguards
2) Head Guard (head guards must have previous experience)
3) Lifeguard Substitutes
4) Gate Person (minimal hours)

Wage increases with performance, position, & years of employment.  We will work around your athletic schedule, and other summer activities if needed.

If you are applying to work this summer for KRC you need to do the following:

1. Schedule a KRC Lifeguard/Employee In-service with Jackie. 
   You must be checked off on back board skills and take KRC Employee test. (test will include KRC procedures, and what you go over in the in-service session before your first shift)
2. Turn in forms if new guard, forms due May 20. (form links below on bottom of page)

• Direct Deposit Form (all employees must do direct deposit)
• W-4
• KRC-PDF Application for Office (new guards only)
• i9 (copy of license or photo id & SS card or copy of passport-new guards only)

All these forms and copies must be completely filled out and turned in before you will be allowed to work.
*There will be a folder at the front desk at the club to put your information you bring when Jackie is not at the pool. We would rather you not email personal information.

4. Uniform for KRC Aquatics employees: life guard suit (either blue or red). We will have fanny packs, a whistle, CPR Masks, and t-shirt for you on your first day of work. If you are only working at a snack shop/gate you will need a KRC shirt to wear while working, see Jackie for shirt.

Available Hours:
Hours will be given to guards who have turned in all the appropriate paperwork, seniority, evaluation from last year, availability, etc. All guards will work weekends and holidays (usually every other weekend)

Scheduling & Timeclock:
We will be using the When to Work Scheduling system & Easy Time Clock App again this season. As soon as you fill out the google form we will start scheduling your shifts and give you an account to check hours, shifts, clock in, etc. at in-service.

All Lifeguards must have current certification:

LIFEGUARD CLASSES if needed:
Lifeguarding Full Course: includes CPR/AED/FA and Lifeguarding skills

LG Class Dates @ Ski Scuba, 2543 Sutherland Ave.
May 15-17, or May 29-May 31

Class Schedule:  Friday – 5:00pm-9:00pm, Saturday – 9am-7pm, and Sunday 9am-7pm (will have breaks, and 7 hrs of online work must be completed before the class)

Cost: $235.00

Lifeguard Recertification Courses (for anyone needing a recert course): 

Ski Scuba LG Recertification Dates: 
Saturday -  May 9, May 17, May 31, Time: 9am-7:00pm with breaks
*7 hours of online homework work must be completed before the class

KRC Opens Thursday, May 21st regular hours for that day.
Hours of Pool Operation: Mon-Thu - 11:00 am-8:00 pm, Fri 11:00 am-10:00 pm; Saturday-11:00 pm-7:00 pm & Sunday 12:00 pm-7:00 pm

FYI: We will have the SNACK shop again this summer. You would use cash or card to purchase food at a discount. We will have a microwave and fridge in the guard room for guards to have food on site.
