KRC Pool Information & Summer Schedule 2026

Welcome to the KRC Pool season! Please review the information below regarding pool hours, swim team schedules, meet dates, and facility updates throughout the summer.

POOL HOURS

Monday–Friday

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Baby Pools Only

11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Main Pool Open

Saturday

11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Baby & Main Pool Open

Sunday

12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Baby & Main Pool Open

ADULT LAP SWIM (Adults Only)

Monday–Friday

6:30 AM – 8:30 AM

Saturday

6:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Sunday

6:30 AM – 12:00 PM

*Mon-Sun during pool hours there are 3 laps lanes available for lap swim.  Lifeguards can help keep lane clear for use.

SWIM TEAM PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Morning Practice

Monday–Friday
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Evening Practice

Monday & Wednesday
6:15 PM – 8:00 PM

Please note that middle lanes will be reserved during evening swim team practices.

HOME SWIM MEETS

Swim meets are typically held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings throughout the summer.

*Important Notice: The pool will close at 3:00 PM on all home meet days.

• Saturday, July 25 (Banquet, Pool Closes at 3pm)
• Saturday, August 1 (Club Event, closes at 3pm)

Grown Up Swimming in Knoxville Meets (https://krc-gus.swimtopia.com/)
* Pool does not close early for grown up meets but any grownup is welcome to join in and swim an event.  Big lanes will be closed for the meet. Shallow end, Deep End and Baby Pools Open

WEEKLY SCHEDULE NOTES

Lifeguard Training 

May 29-31 and June 5-7

Camp Schedule

Camp groups visit the pool on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Members should expect increased attendance and activity during these hours.

August Schedule Changes

Pool hours will be adjusted once Knox County Schools resume classes in August. Updated schedules will be communicated to members at that time.

SEASON INFORMATION

The KRC Pool will close for the 2026 season on Labor Day.

Please note that member account billing is not available.

We encourage all members to support the snack shop, as proceeds help us continue offering this service throughout the summer season.
