Swim Diaper Alert
A Friendly Pool Diaper Reminder!
As much as we love our littlest swimmers, we wanted to share a quick reminder about diapers in the pool.
✅ Swim Diapers Are Required
Swim diapers are required for all children who are not fully potty trained.
❌ Regular Diapers Are Not Allowed
Regular diapers are NOT allowed in the baby or big pools. Regular diapers contain super-absorbent materials that swell up in the water and can clog our filtration system, causing major headaches for the pool — and the people who take care of it!
⚠️ Swim Diaper Covers Are Not a Substitute
The reusable plastic or cloth covers are designed to go over a swim diaper, not over a regular diaper. Putting a swim cover over a regular diaper does not make it pool-safe and can still cause filtration and water quality issues.
Also, while swim diapers do a great job holding in solids, they are not designed to contain liquids or loose stools, which can quickly contaminate the water and lead to pool closures.
Before Heading to the Pool
- Make sure your swimmer is wearing a properly fitted swim diaper.
- If using a reusable swim diaper cover, place it over the swim diaper — not a regular diaper.
- Check diapers frequently.
- Take regular bathroom breaks when possible.
Help us keep the pool clean, safe, and open for everyone to enjoy all summer long!
Remember: If a diaper can absorb a gallon of water, it belongs in the diaper bag—not the swimming pool!
Thank you for helping us make waves responsibly!
