Blue vs Green Teams & Info from the Coaches
We're excited to kick off our first meet of the season! For many of our swimmers, this will be their very first swim meet, and we can't wait to cheer them on.
✅ CHECK-IN & WARM-UPS
When you arrive, please stop by the Check-In Table to get your swimmer checked in.
⭐ SWIMMERS AGE 10 & UNDER
Please write your swimmer's name and age on the back of their right shoulder using a Sharpie. This helps our volunteers and coaches get swimmers lined up quickly and efficiently for their events. You can also put their events on their arms for quick reference.

Speedo Bertucci – KRC (6Y)
After check-in, all swimmers will participate in a team warm-up together. Coaches will provide helpful meet-day tips and explain how everything works, especially for our newer swimmers.
After warm-ups, swimmers should return to their team tent area and listen for announcements. When their event is called, swimmers should report to the Round-Up Tent to get lined up for their races.
For our younger swimmers, coaches will be available every step of the way. Any swimmer who needs assistance will have a coach greet them at the starting blocks, help them get ready to race, and assist them across the pool if needed.
And because every swim deserves a reward, our tradition is each swimmer will receive a Jolly Rancher from the coaches after their race!
All swimmers have already been entered into their events. Event assignments will be available in SwimTopia and posted on the team bulletin board at the pool.
We have also made sure every swimmer is part of a relay team! Relays are often the most exciting, supportive, and memorable events of the meet, and we want every swimmer to experience the fun of cheering on teammates and racing together.

Please support the Snack Shack! Proceeds help support our club, and many of our workers are earning hours at their summer jobs.
KRC APPAREL SALE & SWIM CAPS
Be sure to stop by the apparel table near check-in! We will have a variety of previous years' KRC shirts, apparel, and gear available for purchase while supplies last.
We will also have KRC swim caps available for purchase.
Not only can you grab some great KRC swag, but all proceeds from apparel sales help fund our end-of-season coaches' bonuses. Our coaches dedicate countless hours to helping our swimmers learn, improve, and have a great season, and this is one way we can show our appreciation for all they do.
Don't forget our 2026 KRC Apparel Sale is currently open online and will close on June 12.
BETWEEN EVENTS
There will be downtime between races and tie-dye sessions, so feel free to bring:
- Games
- Cards
- Coloring books
- Outdoor activities
- Blankets or chairs
Most importantly, bring your team spirit, cheer on your teammates, and get ready for a fun evening of racing, tie-dye, and making KRC memories!
DUCK ALERT – WILDLIFE NOTICE
We currently have a KRC mama duck who has chosen to build her nest inside the honorary Mrs. Ruth's flower bed!
Please do not remove any boundaries or disturb the nesting area marked with pink wildlife tape. Feel free to quietly observe her from a respectful distance, but please help us keep the area safe and undisturbed.
Ducks and their nests are federally protected, and we are doing our best to accommodate our special wildlife visitors while keeping everyone safe while enjoying the pool.
